Meet The Team

Melanie Bell

Mel started The Training Room as Fourever Fitness in 2017 after seeing a gap in the local market when she started her own fitness journey just before turning 40.  She was previously working as a Primary Teacher in a local school before making the jump and qualifying as a Personal Trainer. 

Starting out at a local hotel gym, Mel adapted quickly when COVID forced closures, transitioning to online sessions to keep clients engaged. When restrictions eased, Mel took to training outdoors, conducting 1:1 sessions on the beach. As winter approached and the winds made outdoor sessions challenging, a marquee was set up in her garden to continue training in a sheltered space. As the client base grew, the marquee evolved into a permanent cabin, and that's how The Training Room was born—a dedicated space where clients could continue their fitness journeys year-round, regardless of the weather.

Outside of work, Mel has recently taken up triathlon, embracing the challenge of combining swimming, cycling, and running into her fitness routine. When she's not training or coaching, she loves spending quality time with her grandchildren, balancing her active lifestyle with family moments.

Gracie Roberts

Gracie is an ex-gymnast who transitioned her passion for the sport into coaching, earning her Level 1 certification in gymnastics. As a hybrid athlete, she combines her love for running and weight lifting, spending around 12 hours a week in the gym perfecting her craft. Outside of fitness, Gracie is a dog lover who enjoys spending time with her furry friends. Her dedication to both her athletic pursuits and her coaching reflects her commitment to health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals.
